your bank receives mixed reviews from its customers….
Some customers are dissatisfied and give low ratings and complain about the difficulties in getting a call back from the advisor, as well as price increases and the closure of many ATMs and branches.
I'm even thinking about changing banks. The Sparkasse's new pricing model, which in my opinion is pushing the bank out of the competitive market, is not just the reason! Although for checking accounts and depots etc., I find the interest rates to be too high compared to free alternatives with attractive interest rates...
But there are also positive reviews for individual employees. I don't want to mention you by name!
However, there is also criticism of other employees, such as “would-be serious people”, unfriendly and annoyed employees from various departments and long waiting times with the opaque waiting system.
The accessibility of the customer service hotline can be described as more than inadequate!
(I don't have the time or desire to fly around in the queue and I can sing the music in my sleep...)
I'll shorten it: the savings bank used to be an experience (positive), but today it's an absolute disaster in many respects!

My customer loyalty has come to an end after a lifetime of loyalty to the Sparkasse.
In my opinion, the new pricing model has eliminated the Sparkasse from the competitive market.
The argument is based on the large number of branches and the service.
In a world that is moving away from cash and towards digital payments, the number of branches is irrelevant.
When it comes to the service, you have to say that you should reflect on how often you have used it in your life and whether it is worth what the savings bank charges per year for your checking account. I think this added value for a lot of money is of maximum interest to the older generations.
The sad thing is that many providers are free, give interest on daily allowances of 4% and even 2% on checking accounts + three-digit switching bonuses
The Sparkasse offers 0% on checking accounts and €10 monthly fixed costs.
The custody costs and transaction costs are also utopian.
And all of this at a time when state central banks charge high interest rates for bank money and customers' money is extremely important and essential in the value chain.
